I have always been driven to create; driven to describe the indescribable. Most of my work is abstract with organic geometric elements that feel like thoughts or feelings in an internal landscape. Monotype provides me with a way to explore, at a soul level, images that represent emotions and an experience of the formlessness. My work is primarily non-objective, working with multiple colors and textures. Monotype allows me to be both spontaneous and very detailed and deliberate. I love the vibrant colors that can be achieved with fine printing inks on paper.
September 2010, I am beginning a new series called Soul to Soul. I will put the new images on the website as they are available. This is a series that I have been thinking about and planning for two years. There will be several opportunities to view the work. Please let me know if you would like to receive a note about the show. Thank you.
